Sky Cries Mary reunited August 6th & 7th 2004, at the Fenix Underground in Seattle, WA.

The reunion is partly to celebrate the band’s win in a five-year transcontinental legal battle to get back rights to the masters for its seven studio albums. The band will rerelease each album, exposing a whole new generation of fans to its free-flowing, psychedelic space rock. “It’s like winning custody of your children back,” [Roderick] Romero says gleefully. (Adding to the excitement is the fact he and Anisa celebrate their 11th wedding anniversary this month.)
— Tizzy Asher, “Club Beat: Sky Cries Mary is set to relaunch its psychedelic space rock,” Seattle Post-Intelligencer, 6 Aug 2004.

SCM played again at Bumbershoot September 5th in the Exhibition Hall and January 1st and 2nd 2005 at the Fenix in Seattle.
